Almost two years I left SK Damansara Jaya (1) and I had a visit recently to collect data. As I entered the compound I can feel the difference surrounds me. I only met teachers who I need to meet only. Going to the staff room I met three kids who I always play with during the time when I was there. They are taller and really big...how time can be that fast....
Those pupils stopped and looked at me, "Selamat pagi Cikgu. Eh, ini kan....cikgu mana ye....tak ingat la...eh.....owh...cikgu yang bawah ni....hai cikgu...cikgu nanti saya nak mini bike ye...saya pun..." I smiled and a thumbs up to them...yes, they still remember me...
Around 12 noon my business finished and I headed down to my bike. I saw Ooi Wai Chang...a handicapped pupils taht I always remind to study, finish up the homework that I gave and always exercise. He was delighted when he saw me. He quickly let go his stroller and came towards me...and it surprise me when he hugged me....he kept calling my name and did not stop smiling. He kept talking and wanted to tell me stories that I had left out almost two years.
I will be going back and spend time with them more next time....
