Nikkor Lense: AF-S DX 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5G ED

I just bought this new lens due to my zoom lense were sent for service as its VR motor is not at its best performance aka rosak.

This is not a zoom lens but a wide angle lense specially made for better perspective as it covers 109 degree of perspective at 10mm and 89 degree of perspective at 24mm.

This lense is also known as an ultra wide angle lense. The widest angle of coverage produced by nikon.

This lense cost me RM 2990 and by adding up a polarize filter it cost me RM 3300 in total which is equivalent to the recommended retail price of this lense.

Got this piece from J-1 Camera @ Amcorp Mall PJ. They are selling D3000 starter kit at RM 1600 in my personal opinion is the cheapest price one can get in town.

Nikon Service Centre KL @ Berjaya Times Square

Yesterday telah dipanjangkan kaki ke Berjaya Times Square. Nak ziarah Nikon Service Centre yang baru bukak tak berapa lama dulu. So..lepas Safiyyah balik terus ke sana. Kak ngah pulak puasa, so berbuka di Rasa Utara.

Lepas maghrib terus ke level 1. Ada le dia menghadap plaza imbi. Tujuan ke sana bukan sahaja nak singgah service centre tapi nak minta tengok sekali kenapa ada movement kat lens selepas ambik gambar.

Conclusion: VR motor ada problem aka sudah rosak.

So buat dua minggu (minimum) tak ada la zoom lens buat masa ni....

Kat Service centre tu, try le segala macam lens and bimbingan sedikit daripada photographer yang ada. Tup tup...decide nak ambik wide angle lens 10mm-24mm.

So..today, ke Amcorp Mall PJ. Cari J-1 Camera Shop. Harga lense pada kotak RM 3230...bila tanya...RM 2990...apa lagi, ambik terus...recommended retail price...RM 3480...so tambah ler pulak polarizer filter...toko punya...dapat le RM 245 (RP: RM 269)

Hehehehe memang keterujaan kembali dah ni....

Aussie Adventure 2: 2010

Our last stop in our adventure this time was Singapore. We spent our night in a hotel which we never dreamed of. Sabila's birthday was just around the corner and this was a gift for her. A night in Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore was an experience not to be missed. The overall service exceed our expectations and we surely want more from them when we had the chance to come over to Singapore again. I decided to upgrade our room. At first, our room was not connected and facing the city. By having to pay additional SGD 50 per room for upgrade to seaview room and connected. It was well worth it.

In Australia we met this nice family from Melawati, kak wan, kak sham and famili who live next to our apartment in  Cedar Lake. We do really appreciate the bond between us.

DREAM WORLD

Last year visits to Australia due to time constraint, we do not managed to visit the Dreamworld although the children asked me to drive them there. This time of visit recently, without planning, nana suggested to go to the Dream World at which we leave our lovelyt apartment late at 1130 am and managed to be there at 12 noon. The park closes at 5 pm so we have to move fast, play fast, and do everything fast. It is a huge place for kids to play and adults are no exception. If you are in speed and loves an adventure from above, this is the place. Above picture are taken at the entrance at about 5 pm and it is almost dark.

Subak @ Bukit Lanjan

This was the second time we had dinner at Subak but the first for nana. The place is nice with the scenery of Mutiara Damansara up to One Utama as the eyes can view. After the downpour add the coolness of the eating area. No air conditioner is needed when we enjoy every bite of our food.

We ordered different food but only a few can be saved for photos. Here are the gado-gado as the appetizer and a warm glass of carrot juice and a markisa on the left.

Lawatan Sambil Belajar ke Kilang Coklat Beryl's

SK DJ 1 mengadakan lawatan ke kilang coklat yang terletaknya di selatan Selangor: Sri Kembangan. Tujuan lawatan adalah mendedahkan kepada para murid PPKIBP tentang coklat dan pembuatannya. Tapi objektif tercapai ke? Semestinya tidak. Ini adalah kerana prsentation yang dilakukan oleh pihak kilang dalam bahasa inggeris dan tayangan video yang kurang interaktif pada para pelajar. Malah ada juga para cikgu yang tak faham. Perjalanan didalam kilang dapat memberi manfaat kepada murid sekkiranya mereka faham presentation video dalam bahasa inggeris tadi. Namun, gambar tidak boleh diambil ketika melawat kilang. So, kita respect permintaan itu dan tak ada la gambar dalam kilang.

Movie World Gold Coast

As we enter the famous theme park Movie World, these three super duper heroes were standing near the arch (no wonder there was so many people gathering at that place). We took this opportunity to snap few photos.

Green Lantern, Hawkgirl and Wonder Women were like waiting for us to greet and welcome us to the theme park.

Balik dari Carrara Market we headed to Surfers Paradise. We thought of going to Nandos for dinner instead we had a beriyani at an indian restaurant (halal yer). This is due to the food they are selling, an additional to the chicken. They started to sell ham. It was placed in different places but the culinaries used to handle and equipment used to cook for both chicken and ham are the same. So....tak halal ler jadinya....dalam website dia claim halal.....

Habis je makan sempat le pusing2 and ambil gambar, masa tu ler nampak si aquaduck the amphibian mobile lalu...next plan...ride the duck

Kami dibawa berjalan sampai ke Sea World, lepas tu dush...masuk air...memang sejuk lagi jadinya...the kids yang ada sama diberi peluang bawa mobile ni....tapi atas air je la....
