Today officially starts the fasting month for Malaysia. Safiyyah woke up at 5 am today and had her sahur. Not only she but Sayyidah also do join the sahur. Its hard to put them to sleep back luckily it was still dark and I told them it is still night time and they do need to sleep.
This year would be the 2nd year for Safiyyah fasting with us. Hope she can cope with the challenge.
Late evening today, we picked Safiyyah up from her school. She asked for water. We tried to hold off her as long as possible. At 630 pm she could not bear anymore. She broke her fast with 1 condition. Tomorrow fast again but only to break the fast when it is maghrib.
Safiyyah did fast for a week last year. Hope she she can do more than last year insya allah....
