Imam?????????

Remembering a funny experience couple of weeks ago...

On the way to KLCC for PC Fair on Sunday afternoon....Dato' Abu Hashim gave me a call inviting me and my family to his house for a little ceremony of faith....doa selamat......we got home early and prepared ourselves that evening....

After maghrib prayer we went to his house...earlier that afternoon, Dato' Abu had asked me to lead them for doa selamat as he said that he could not find anyone to lead which I agreed to....hmmmm takat baca yasin and doa tu ok ler.....tapi kalau nak suruh yang berat lagi.....hehehehehe tengok ler dulu.....

Upon our arrival we are greeted by Dato' Abu himself and a man which I do not know but people are calling him Dato'.....

To our surprise, when we enter his house there are a group of people waiting for something....the guest I think....

Later, Dato' Abu asked his 'biras' to lead the yasin...I felt relieved as there are someone else who can lead too...

"Imam...imam...." itu ler orang tu cakap....sebelum tu minta Quran nak baca yasin...so bagi ler yasin untuk tahlil tu....lepas tu dia tolak pulak ke kita.....sampai adik dia pun ikut jer cakap dia....mujur ler Dato' Abu bertegas nak dia juga yang lead....bukan apa....ada orang yang boleh lead kita dahulukan dia....

Is it because of my appearance....yer kot...dengan jubah kelabu and songkok tinggi....songkok jer tinggi...ilmu cetek jer.....

Later that night....Dato' Abu ada cakap...yang berhajat tu adik ipar dan kalau boleh dia nak abang dia yang bacakan....owh...baru ler faham....abang dia pulak mengajar di Kolej Universiti Sains Islam Selangor....dulu abang dia buat masters di UM bidang pengajian akhlak....in addition dengan berseloroh my father in-law said,"kalau imam ni tadi doa dia tak habis lagi"......

Imam????? hehehehe lead solat baca yasin doa selamat tahlil tu biasa ler....hehehehehe tapi terkejut kejut tak mau lagi la....
